Qualification & EXPERIENCE YEARS :

Dr Ooi Lai Hock up in Guy’s Hospital and graduated from Guy’s and St. Thomas’s University. He subsequently held a Master of Medicine Qualification in Orthopaedic Surgery and an FRCS Qualification (Edinburgh). Dr. Ooi’s training areas include foot and ankle surgery and post-operative adult reconstruction.

Dr Ooi Lai Hock treats heel spurs and ankle sprains. Dr. Oi performs surgery such as ankle arthroscopic surgery, ankle ligament repair, and ankle arthroplasty. Other surgical procedures for the foot and ankle would include RF treatments for plantar fasciitis, surgery for flat feet, and management of diabetic foot disease and non-healing foot ulcers.

Dr Ooi Lai Hock has also conducted comprehensive research which has been published in major medical journals such as the American Journal of Gastroenterology and the International Journal of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy.

As an avid player, Dr Ooi was captain of the SJIOBA football team in 2005, part of the CoolJoes football team as well as Old Rafflesians’ Association rugby team.
