Dr Ong Christina is a paediatrician, pediatric gastroenterologist, paediatrician and paediatric gastroenterologist.

She received her training in London and has over 20 EXPERIENCE YEARS YEARS. She obtained specialist Qualification from the Singapore Medical Council and is a specialist in general paediatrics and paediatric gastroenterology, hepatology and nutrition from the UK’s General Medical Council.

She specializes in the treatment for children with gastrointestinal issues, liver problems, and nutrition-related disorders. She specializes in treating children at the childhood health level.

Dr Ong Christina is one of the few doctors in Singapore with multi-disciplinary credentials capable of conducting these procedures.

Dr Ong Christina was educated at the University of London School of Medicine. She was also educated at the hospitals including St Mary’s Hospital, Great Ormond Street Hospital, and Royal Free Hospital. She was elected to membership of the Royal College of Paediatrics in 2001 and was subsequently elected to fellowship in 2011.

She returned to Singapore in 2011 and served as an Executive at the Gastroenterology Clinic at KK Women and Children’s Hospital until October 2018. She is currently on sabbatical, visiting another employer’s hospital.

Dr Ong wishes to encourage teaching and learning for undergraduate students and residents. She is a professor at the Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine and the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine.

The speaker is regularly invited to lecture at conferences, and her thesis has appeared in influential journals.
