Dr Oh Chia Chiang Derrick is a surgeon who practices at Mount Elizabeth and Gleneagles Hospitals in Singapore.

He specializes in two different fields of surgical training, sports and trauma.

Dr Oh Chia Chiang Derrick is well-known for arthroscopic knee surgery and meniscus surgery in the form of ACL reconstructions; arthroscopic shoulder surgery and Bankart repair; cartilage regeneration; knee and shoulder replacement surgery; and computer navigation in knee replacement.

He graduated from the National University of Singapore in 1995, and his postgraduate Qualifications include a Qualification in general surgery from the fellowship of the Royal Surgeons of Edinburgh, a master’s Qualification in orthopaedics, and a membership with the fellowship of the Royal Surgeons of Edinburgh (Orthopaedics).

Before leaving the government service, Dr Oh was a consulting Orthopaedic Surgeon at Tan Tock Seng hospital (TTSH).

He regularly shares his EXPERIENCE YEARS in medical Qualification with medical and nursing students and colleagues alike. He was a former course instructor, and also volunteered for shoulder and knee arthroscopy classes.

Dr Oh Chia Chiang Derrick is an active researcher in the area of osteoporosis and cartilage regeneration, and is doing research on injuries to children.
