- Dr Oh Chia Chiang Derrick is an orthopaedic surgeon at Singapore’s Mount Elizabeth and Gleneagles hospitals.
He has received EXPERIENCE YEARS in both sports and trauma surgery.
Dr Oh’s most frequently treated conditions and procedures include arthroscopic knee surgery, which includes ACL reconstruction; meniscus surgery and complicated replacements for numerous lesions; arthroscopic shoulder surgery, which includes rotator cuff surgery and Bankart repair; cartilage regeneration; knee and shoulder replacement surgery; and computer navigation in knee replacement. - Dr Oh Chia Chiang Derrick earned a bachelor’s Qualification in general surgery from the fellowship of the Royal Surgeons of Edinburgh in 1995, as well as a master’s Qualification in orthopaedics and membership in the fellowship of the Royal Surgeons of Edinburgh (Orthopaedics).
Dr Oh previously worked as a consulting orthopaedic surgeon at Tan Tock Seng Hospital.
As a clinical educator, he regularly shares his EXPERIENCE YEARS with medical and nursing students, as well as with fellow physicians and surgeons. He was also a former course mentor and coach for an arthroscopy class for the shoulder and knee.
He is an active researcher in orthopaedics, with interests ranging from osteoporosis and cartilage regeneration to pediatric injuries.
