Biodata
- Dr N Ragavan, a graduate of PGI Chandigarh (General Surgery), trained and practiced as a Consultant Urologist and UroOncologist in the United Kingdom. He completed his fellowship in Germany under the supervision of Prof Stolzenburg. He has worked in UroOncology for over 15 years and is an expert in open, laparoscopic, and robotic surgery for patients with prostate, bladder, kidney, penile, and testicular malignancies.
- He was the first surgeon in South India to conduct unique and groundbreaking robotic procedures such as extraperitoneal radical prostatectomy, total intracorporeal nephroureterectomy, RPLND, cystectomy with ileal conduit, Boari flap, and Culp pyeloplasty.
- Dr N Ragavan is an enthusiastic academician, researcher, and educator. He directs a training program in urooncology, supervises urology residents, and has published 30 papers in peer-reviewed journals.
