Dr Matthew Ng Joo Ming

Graduated from the National University of Singapore in 1988 and obtained a Master of Medicine (Family Medicine) in 1998 and Graduate Diploma in Occupational Medicine in 2000. In 2001 he became a Fellow of the College of Family Physicians (MCFPS) and later a Fellow of the College. Family Physician (FCFPS) in 2002. He was editor of the Singapore Family Physician Journal from 2000 to 2007.

Dr. Ng was the immediate head of the Department of Family Medicine and Continuing Care from 2015 to 2021, and before joining SGH, Dr. Ng worked as a family physician in the private sector from 1993 to 2001 and later as deputy head of Clementi Polyclinic and Ang Mo. Keo Polyclinic from 2001 to 2006.
