- Dr Mahesh Reddy MBBS, MS, MCh – is one of the leading shoulder surgeons in India. He co-founded and directs Nova Expert In Surgery, a chain of outpatient surgery centers, and was also instrumental in establishing the Shoulder Clinic at Manipal Hospital in Bangalore. He was recently acknowledged by the College Of Surgeons of FRCS for his more than eleven years of skill and contribution as a top-notch shoulder surgeon (Eng).
- Dr Mahesh Reddy earned his undergraduate and graduate Qualifications in Orthopedics from the University of Liverpool and then conducted additional training with the NHS in the United Kingdom.
- He was affiliated with Kasturba Medical College in Manipal, Manipal Hospital in Bangalore, and Nova Expert In Surgery upon his return to India. He is the first physician in India to focus only on the shoulder, and as such, he serves as an honorary doctor for the Swimming Federation of Karnataka and the Red Rooster Racing Club in Bangalore.
- Dr. Mahesh Reddy specializes in minimum access surgery at Nova Medical Center’s short stay surgical units. His primary clinical interests include periarthritis (frozen shoulder); complete shoulder replacement and revision surgery; and shoulder resurfacing.
- Dr. Reddy earned the Bharat Jyothi Award for medical performance in 2008. He also has international renown as a shoulder expert, having served as a reviewer for two international journals, the Journal of Bone and Joint Surgery and the Journal of Shoulder and Elbow Surgery, for which he also serves as the Asia region’s Sub-Editor.
