Qualification & EXPERIENCE YEARS :

Dr Lyen Kenneth Reginald is a pediatric consultant at the Mt Elizabeth Medical Centre, a visiting pediatric endocrinologist at the Singapore General Hospital School of Health Services, and a visiting pediatric developmental mentor at the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine. He is on the Rainbow Centre management board, which operates two schools for children with disabilities and children with autism spectrum disorder.

He founded both of these schools and, for his community services, received the Public Service Award. He is also on the Outward Bound Singapore medical advisory council. Dr Lyen has written 22 original research papers on pediatric endocrinology, neurology, and infectious diseases, and 13 books on pediatrics, parenting, imagination, and Qualification have been co-authored. In Singapore, he has written and staged 22 musicals.

Dr Lyen Kenneth Reginald graduated from Oxford University with a Qualification in medicine and obtained postgraduate training in pediatrics at University College Hospital and Hammersmith Hospital in London. At the Hospital for Sick Children in Great Ormond Lane, he went on to sub-specialise in pediatric endocrinology. At the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, he was given a 3-year research fellowship in pediatric diabetes and metabolic diseases. Dr Lyen Kenneth Reginald returned to Singapore to take up a teaching and research position at the National University of Singapore’s Department of Paediatrics.
