Biodata

• Dr Lim Yuin Wen completed her undergraduate medical Qualification in the United Kingdom and graduated in 1983 from the University of Aberdeen. She pursued her postgraduate Expert In studies in several teaching institutions in the area and was admitted to the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists in London in 1988, later becoming a Fellow in 2001. After eight years in the United Kingdom, she relocated to Singapore and joined the Kandang Kerbau Women’s and Children’s Hospital, where she remained for another eight years, eventually becoming a consultant in the Maternal-Fetal Medicine department before leaving to establish her own practice at Mount Alvernia Medical Centre.
• Dr. Lim has received training in all aspects of general obstetrics and gynecology, with a special interest in fetal maternal medicine, which encompasses the care of pregnant women and the safe delivery of their babies, gynecological surgery, adolescent gynecology, menopausal, anti-aging, and nutritional medicine.
• Dr. Lim is an advocate for breastfeeding, having nursed both of her children successfully.
