Biodata

• Dr Lim Yeow Wai works at Raffles Orthopaedic Centre as an orthopaedic surgeon. He earned his MBBS from NUS in 1996. He later earned Membership in the Royal College of Surgeons (Edinburgh) in 1999, a Masters of Medicine (Surgery) from the National University of Singapore in 2000, and a Fellowship in the Royal College of Surgeons (Edinburgh) in 2003. In Australia, he did an international clinical fellowship in Upper Limb and Hand Surgery. He was then awarded the New York Presbyterian Hospital – Shoulder, Elbow, and Sports Medicine (ASIAN) Fellowship, which he completed in 2006 under the supervision of Professor Louis U Bigliani.
• Dr Lim previously served as the Director of the Changi General Hospital’s Shoulder and Elbow service. He also served as Honorary Secretary of the Singapore Orthopaedic Association from 2004 to 2005 and as Chairman of the Sports Medicine Association of Singapore’s Orthopaedic Chapter from 2007 to 2009. Dr Lim has over 20 papers and a book chapter in the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons’ Advances in Elbow Reconstruction.
