Dr Lim Jit Kheng was educated at a fellowship-funded orthopaedic clinic in Singapore. His area of specialization is orthopedic surgery. He specializes in knee and shoulder joint repair. He is mainly EXPERIENCE YEARS d with foot and ankle injuries, as well as hip and elbow joints. He is the only orthopedic surgeon licensed as a sports medicine specialist in Singapore

Dr Lim Jit Kheng was born and raised in Singapore. He graduated from medical school at Trinity College, University of Dublin, Ireland in the year 1994. Upon returning to Singapore, he served in the military for two years before being discharged. He continues to serve in the Singapore Armed Forces as a reserve captain in one of the combat surgical hospitals. He underwent an orthopaedic surgery residency at the National University Hospital.

He completed one year of orthopaedic residency in orthopaedic sports medicine and is currently a fellow at the Methodist Sports Medicine Hospital. During his internship he worked with local high school students as an athletic trainer, and engaged in medical coverage for the Indiana State football team. He is a member of the American Orthopaedic Society of Sports Medicine. He holds a Masters Qualification in Sports Medicine and is from the University of International New South Wales in Australia.

Dr Lim Jit Kheng was a Clinical Mentor in orthopaedic surgery from 2004-2008 at the National University of Singapore He has acted as an invited speaker for both orthopaedic surgery courses and world orthopaedic events.

Dr Lim is a Singapore Medical Society, Singapore Orthopaedic Association, and American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. Dr Lim worked as a medical volunteer in humanitarian relief efforts to support victims of the 2005 South Asia earthquake. He served as the Singapore Red Cross Medical team’s senior orthopaedic surgeon. He has worked as a team physician for Anglo-Chinese School (Independent), which is a nearby high school that is well known for its rugby team since 2005. He has worked with the Singapore Sports School since 2008.

Dr Lim is well known for his reports on knee and shoulder injuries. He has presented his findings at various local scientific meetings in addition to those of the International Arthroscopy Association, Arthroscopy Association of North America and World Spine Association. He has been a guest editor of several medical journals in Singapore. He conducts studies and reviews in the area of sports medicine.
