The ENT surgeon, Dr Lim Ing Ruen, is a consultant ENT surgeon at Mount Elizabeth Hospital. Because of her clinical skills, she has EXPERIENCE YEARS treating ear, nose, throat and thyroid disorders. She has been a specialist in advanced endoscopic sinus surgery, conducting procedures for nasal blockages. Dr Lim graduated from the National University of Singapore with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery, and completed her surgical training in Singapore. Then in 2000-01, she was awarded Fellowship of the Royal Colleges of Surgeons of Glasgow.
In 2003, Dr Lim Ing Ruen was awarded an advanced training grant from the Ministry of Health so he could undertake subExpert In training at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in nose medicine and advanced endoscopic sinus surgery. Dr Lim Ing Ruen also attained a position at the University of Pennsylvania as a clinical lecturer, and was interested in teaching medical students.
Her duties include serving in operating theatre committees and hospital planning committees, as well as on the transplant committee at Mount Elizabeth hospital.
