Dr Lim Hsueh Yee Lynne is an ENT doctor who practices ENT at Mount Elizabeth Hospital. Dr Lim treats adult and paediatric ENT problems such as Tinnitus, Giddiness, Allergic Rhinitis, Sinusitis, Snoring, Adenoids and Tonsils, Throat and Speech Disorders, and Lumps in the Head and Neck.

Dr Lim Hsueh Yee Lynne is a specialist in treating complex cases of hearing loss with cochlear implants, bone-anchored hearing aids in children and cochlear implants in adults. She has EXPERIENCE YEARS in ear, nose, and throat surgery, and voice therapy for children with Down syndrome, nasal and laryngeal surgery, and hypernasal ambiguous expression.

Dr Lim Hsueh Yee Lynne graduated from the National University of Singapore with the Qualification of Medicine and Surgery and was accepted as a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh upon completion of the ENT Expert In test. In 2001, she was certified as a specialist in (ENT) by the MOH and the MOC.

Dr Lim Hsueh Yee Lynne was further awarded a Healthcare Manpower Development Program (HMDP) Fellowship for ENT Surgery and a research fellowship from the National Medical Research Council at the renowned Cincinnati Children Hospital Medical Centre, Ohio, USA. She was there from 2001 to 2003, mentored by paediatric ENT specialists Professor Robin Cotton and Professor John Grienwald.

In 2004, Dr Lim completed her Master of Public Health Qualification at the Harvard School of Public Health, USA. Her second HMDP award in 2008 – 2009 was for reconstruction surgery of complex microtia and atresia (middle ear bones) pathology at the Stanford Medical Centre, USA, University of Virginia Medical Centre, USA, and Nagata Plastic and Ear Reconstruction Clinic (Japan).

Dr Lim was a Vice Dean at the NUS Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine from 2011 to 2014, and a former Assistant Dean from 2010 to 2011. The chief of the Medical Board at the National University Hospital served as a Vice Chairperson from 2011 to 2013.

Dr Lim was given tenure as a full-time senior lecturer in 2008. She has been an active participant of the teaching of graduate students and fellow practitioners. Additionally, she has been involved with the school’s Master of Science in Speech Language Pathology, Master of Science in Audiology, Master in Clinical Investigation and Nursing Certificate programmes.

Dr Lim has been the director at the NUH’s Hearing Language Learning Center since 2006. The happiest success of the speech/auditory-verbal therapy team came in 2014, when 21 members delivered a full adult and paediatric program.

Dr. Lim has completed hundreds of implants in adults and children over the course of her career in otolaryngology. She is a lecturer at several surgical conferences, and has planned many surgical workshops and been on the advisory committees of airway and hearing/cochlear implant centers in Indonesia, Malaysia, India, Vietnam, Cambodia and the Middle East.

Dr Lim recently established the Singapore Master of Science in Audiology Qualification program, which was launched in August 2013. This unique partnership between business, hospital and Qualificational partners is a significant milestone in the continual efforts of Prof Lim to lift the profile of audiology and develop the hearing health ecosystem in Singapore.
