Dr Lim Boon Leng Kieron is a gastroenterologist practising at Mount Elizabeth Hospital, Singapore.
He has expertise in caring for patients with disorders linked to the oesophagus, intestine, colon, liver, pancreas and gall bladder.
His special interests include the detection and treatment of liver fibrosis and cirrhosis, hepatitis B and C, fatty liver disease, liver cancer and colon cancer screening.

He was assistant professor at the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore, and honorary adjunct assistant professor at the Division of Liver Diseases, Ichan School of Medicine at Mount Sinai New York, USA.
Dr Lim Boon Leng Kieron is currently a visiting consultant at NUH where he continues to be active in postgraduate Qualification and training of future specialists.
Dr Lim Boon Leng Kieron has conducted several research studies in the area of gastroenterology and hepatology. He is an invited reviewer of globally renowned peer-reviewed journals. That include the Journal of Gastroenterology and Hepatology, World Journal of Gastroenterology, Hepatobiliary & Pancreatic Diseases, Transplantation, Therapeutic Transplantation, Annals Academy of Medicine Singapore, Singapore Medical Journal.
He is an editorial board member of the European Medical Journal, a scientific committee member of the Asia Pacific Primary Liver Cancer Society, and an invited reviewer for the Health and Medical Research Fund from the government of Hong Kong. Dr Lim also worked on advisory committees at the national organ donation unit of Singapore, pharmacy and therapeutics committee at NUH, and the Health Sciences Authority of Singapore.
