EXPERIENCE YEARS
- Dr Liang Te Shan is an orthopaedic surgeon who practices at Singapore’s Gleneagles Hospital. He specializes in adult reconstruction, joint replacement, and tumor surgery of the musculoskeletal system.
Dr Liang was the orthopaedic surgeon on a medical relief mission to Sri Lanka in December 2004 following the tsunami, and to Solo/Yogyakarta in 2006 following the earthquake.
Dr Liang earned a bachelor’s Qualification in 1982 from the National University of Singapore. Until 1995, he was employed at Tan Tock Seng Hospital, Alexandra Hospital, and Singapore General Hospital. - Dr Liang received a Health Manpower Development Plan (HMDP) fellowship to train in musculoskeletal oncology and adult reconstruction at the University of Florida in the United States of America. Additionally, he was assigned to the University of Maryland for training in limb deformity correction and limb lengthening.
