- Dr Leyland Chuang Lee Ren is a board-certified infectious disease expert and a Fellow of the Singapore Academy of Medicine. He graduated from the National University of Singapore and was later elected to membership in the United Kingdom’s Royal Colleges of Physicians.
- Dr Leyland Chuang Lee Ren previously worked at the National University Health System as a Consultant in Infectious Diseases. He oversaw various quality improvement initiatives aimed at preventing catheter-associated urinary tract infections and optimizing soft tissue infection care, as well as clinical audit and antimicrobial stewardship. Additionally, he was involved in undergraduate and postgraduate Qualification and was appointed Clinical Lecturer at the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine.
- Dr Chuang is a member of the Singapore Infectious Diseases Society (SIDS), the Singapore Infection Control Association, and the Asian Association of Urinary Tract Infections (UTI) & Sexually Transmitted Infections’ executive committee (STI). Additionally, he has the honor of assisting the community through numerous volunteer welfare organizations.
- Dr Chuang’s clinical interests include infections related with healthcare and urinary tract infections. He contributed to the Ministry of Health’s National Infection Prevention and Control Guidelines for Acute Healthcare Facilities, as well as the Urological Association of Asia – Asian Association of Urinary Tract Infections and Sexually Transmitted Infections Guidelines for Urinary Tract Infections and Sexually Transmitted Infections.
