EXPERIENCE YEARS
- Dr Lee Kim Shang is a Visiting Consultant Radiation Oncologist at Mount Elizabeth Hospital and a Senior Consultant Radiation Oncologist at the Singapore Gamma Knife Centre.
- He earned a bachelor’s Qualification in 1985 from the National University of Singapore. He was awarded a Ministry of Health HMDP Fellowship in 1990 to study at Saint Bartholomew’s Hospital in London and at the Royal Marsden Hospital’s Neuro-Oncology Unit in 1996.
- He was named Senior Consultant in the Department of Therapeutic Radiology at the National Cancer Centre, where he also served as the Department’s SubExpert In Head for colorectal cancer. Dr Lee held a number of concurrent appointments during this time period, including Chairman of the Therapeutic Radiology Department’s Safety Committee, member of the Ministry of Health’s Colorectal Cancer Clinical Practice Guidelines Committee, and member of the Ministry of Health’s Specialist Training Committee (Radiation Oncology).
