Biography

Dr. Lee Keen Whye is a leading obstetrician and gynecologist who has dedicated his service to healthcare for over three decades. Besides providing pregnancy care and delivery services, Dr. Lee is also passionate and highly skilled in endoscopic work, especially in the areas of hysteroscopy He has also delivered many international lectures and preceptor numerous endoscopic workshops in the region. In 2018, he introduced high-intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU) treatment, a non-invasive surgery to treat uterine fibroids and adenomyosis to Singapore and South East Asia. As a testament to his expertise and dedication, Dr. Lee has received numerous awards and is frequently invited to share in lectures both locally and around the world. In 1996, he was presented the National Serviceman of the Year Award by Army Medical Services Headquarters for In 2003, Dr. Lee was awarded the prestigious Benjamin Henry Sheares Memorial Lecture Gold Medal by the Obstetrical and Gynaecological Society of Singapore. In 2020, Dr. Lee was accorded Adjunct Professorship by Chongqing University Medical College for his academia in gynecology. From 2003 to 2005, Dr. Lee Keen Whye was the President of the Obstetrical and Gynaecological Society of Singapore. He is a founding member of the Asia-Pacific Association of Gynaecological Endoscopists and an associate of the Laser Vaginal Institute of Los Angeles, U.S. Outside of work, Dr. Lee is actively involved in medical missions. He has been a medical volunteer with the Singapore International Foundation and has participated in a medical mission with Ren Ci Hospital to Sri Lanka during the aftermath of the Tsunami in 2005. Dr Lee’s specialty interests are hysteroscopy, laparoscopy, uterine fibroids, and vaginal rejuvenation.
