Dr. Lee Haw Chou is a licensed orthopedic surgeon in Singapore. He’s a specialist in the fields of orthopedics and spine surgery.

Dr Lee Haw Chou has 15 EXPERIENCE YEARS YEARS performing orthopaedic surgery. Upon completing his medical training from the Faculty of Medicine at the National University of Singapore, he undertook basic surgical training in general surgery and specialized training in plastic and reconstructive surgery. Having excelled as an orthopaedic surgeon, he was elected as a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons in Medicine.

After this, Dr Lee returned to Singapore to concentrate on spine surgery and went to the UK, Japan, and Taiwan for fellowship program attachments. He has also worked at the University of Missouri, USA as a fellow for 12 months from 2004 to 2005.

Dr Kenneth Lee was previously a senior consultant at the Orthopaedic Department at Changi General Hospital. He was the Director of the Orthopaedic Geriatric Programme which focused on hip fractures, and the Osteoporosis Programme which focused on bone health.

Dr Lee Haw Chou acted as the key founder of the Spine Program, and was directly involved with setting up the service. Additionally, he supervised the training of junior spine surgeons and developed a robust patient care programme where patients receive spinal surgery and treatment from a multi-disciplinary team of nurses and a physiotherapist.

Dr Lee Haw Chou is committed to being the best in his career by enhancing the procedures within the healthcare system. Over the years, he has received government grant money to study healthcare quality from the Ministry of Health. He spearheaded reforms in Changi General Hospital with respect to infection control and blood products. Dr Lee delivered intensive treatment for elderly patients with bone fractures and other disabilities by a multi-disciplinary team in hospital. He has been honored several times for his work with the ministry, which includes a Health Minister’s Service Efficiency Award.
