Dr Lee Chee Wei is a general surgeon with nearly 10 years of field EXPERIENCE YEARS . He offers specialised services for patients with vascular disorders at his clinics at Mount Elizabeth Novena, Mount Elizabeth and Parkway East Hospitals. Patients will undergo a thorough examination in the clinic, including a Duplex scan. Dr. Lee is well conscious of complex vascular procedures, such as open aortic repair, bypass surgery, peripheral angioplasty, aorta endovascular repair and varicose vein endovenous laser therapy.

Dr Lee Chee Wei completed basic training after graduating from the Faculty of Medicine at the National University of Singapore (MBBS, 1995) and obtained his Fellowship in 2001 from the Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh. In 2005, he completed his General Surgery Advanced Specialist Training. He then attended a one-year fellowship program at St Vincent’s Hospital in Sydney, Australia, through the Health Manpower Development Programme (HMDP) Award, where he specialized in open surgical procedures and endovascular interventional procedures. An attachment to the Vascular Diagnostic Laboratory was also included in his training there, where he was qualified to do duplex vascular ultrasounds and other non-invasive studies.

Dr Lee Chee Wei was a consultant at the Department of General Surgery at Tan Tock Seng Hospital prior to his move to private practice. He worked as Head of the Vascular Surgery Service and Director of the Vascular Diagnostic Lab during his tenure, where he was praised with pushing the limits of peripheral arterial procedures (including the use of drug-eluting balloons and stents), endovascular aortic repairs, renal dialysis arteriovenous fistula salvage, bypass surgery (including distal bypass and trauma surgery) He currently remains a Tan Tock Seng Hospital Visiting Consultant.

In 2011, Dr Lee Chee Wei was admitted to the Academy of Medicine of Singapore, Surgery, as a Fellow. He has many local and international journals, such as the Annals of Vascular Surgery and the World Journal of Surgery, to his credit.
