Dr Koo Oon Thien Kevin is a medical doctor practicing orthopaedics in Mount Elizabeth Hospital.

His study examines foot and ankle surgery, joint replacements, sports medicine and minimally invasive surgery.

He completed his medical training in the National University of Singapore (NUS) in 2003 and was then selected as a member and fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, UK.  In 2013, he received his master’s Qualification in orthopaedic surgery from NUS and then his fellowship from the Academy of Medicine, Singapore.

Dr Koo Oon Thien Kevin earned a fellowship under the Health Manpower Development Plan for a year, which included a clinical rotation at St. Mary’s and Charing Cross Hospitals, Imperial College Healthcare in London, UK. He engaged actively in the management of professional athletes and dancers.

Dr Koo Oon Thien Kevin is a lecturer at the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, and a lecturing professor at Duke-NUS Medical School.

Dr Koo Oon Thien Kevin has presented at several conferences over the past year including the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and the British Society for Surgery of the Hand. He has published several peer-reviewed articles in various medical journals and is an influential lecturer for mid-level medical students.
