At Siriraj Hospital in Bangkok, Thailand, she sought more subExpert In training in breast surgical oncology.

During her time at Siriraj Hospital, as part of the intensive care for breast cancer patients, she studied the techniques of oncoplastic surgery, immediate or delayed reconstruction using pedicled autologous flap reconstruction and/or implant-based augmentation with or without the use of acellular dermal matrix and lipofilling.

Dr Jendana Chanyaputhipong was formerly a physician at Khoo Teck Puat Hospital, where she worked in the intensive care unit as a general surgeon. She was also a breast surgeon and a specialist of endoscopic acute gastrointestinal bleeding interventions.

At NUS ‘Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine and Duke-NUS Medical School, she was named as a clinical instructor and regularly mentored medical students and surgical residents. She has won many teaching awards, including the 2011-2013 “Best Tutor (Surgery) Award” and the 2015 “Outstanding Clinical Teacher Award.”

Dr Jendana Chanyaputhipong won many patient care awards during Dr. Jendana’s exposure to work at various hospitals, including Singapore General Hospital and Alexander Hospital.

Dr Jendana Chanyaputhipong was invited to be one of the table instructors for 2 international breast reconstructive cadaveric courses, one conducted at Siriraj Hospital in 2016 and the other organized by the National Cancer Center Bangkok in 2017 in conjunction with the 6th International Oncoplastic Breast Surgery Symposium (IOPBS), where she was also named a committee member.

In June 2018, she will complete her fellowship in breast surgical oncology at Siriraj Hospital.

Dr Jendana Chanyaputhipong regularly volunteers on mission trips in her private time. She is also a dedicated mother and likes to play the piano, to paint and to fly.
