Dr Jason Chang Pik Eu

Dr. Jason Chang is a recognized expert in the field of Gastroenterology and Hepatology. He received an HMDP scholarship for fellowship training in Advanced Hepatology in Portal Hypertension and Liver Transplantation at the Hospital Clinic of Barcelona from 2007-2008.

Dr. Chang is currently a Senior Consultant in the Department of Gastroenterology and Hepatology at Singapore General Hospital. He has a keen interest in hepatology (viral hepatitis, fatty liver, liver cancer, liver transplantation), and his areas of expertise are in non-invasive markers of fibrosis including liver cirrhosis, portal hypertension, and transient elastography (Fibroscan®). He is active in clinical research and has published in the areas of portal hypertension, liver cirrhosis, transient elastography, and liver cancer.

Dr. Chang is a passionate educator at heart. He is actively involved in undergraduate medical education in his role as Adjunct Assistant Professor at the Duke-NUS Graduate Medical School and Clinical Senior Lecturer at the Yong Lu Lin School of Medicine, NUS. As Program Director of the SingHealth Gastroenterology Residency Program, he oversees the training of future gastroenterology specialists at SingHealth. He has received numerous awards for his contribution to medical education, including the AMEI Golden Apple Award for Outstanding Educator (Medical) in 2015.
