• Dr Hoe Nan Yuh Michael is a general surgeon based in Singapore’s Gleneagles Hospital. He specializes in gastrointestinal surgery, hepatobiliary and pancreatic surgery, as well as endoscopic and laparoscopic procedures (minimally invasive surgery).
• Dr Hoe joined Gleneagles Medical Centre in 2004 after serving as chief of surgery at Changi General Hospital (CGH), clinical associate professor of surgery at the National University of Singapore, and member of the Specialist Training Committee for General Surgery. He served as an examiner for the National University of Singapore’s final M.B.B.S. examination and the joint FRCSE/FAMS Exit Examination in General Surgery. Dr Hoe was actively involved in educating undergraduates and postgraduate doctors – Basic Speciality Trainees and Advanced Speciality Trainees in General Surgery – as well as training general surgical consultants. In 1998 and 2002, he was voted best teacher at CGH.
• Dr Hoe practices general surgery, diagnostic and therapeutic upper and gastro-intestinal endoscopy, including ERCP, biliary tract and pancreatic surgery, and specialized laparoscopic surgery.
