Dr Ho Kee Wai Tony (MBBS, FRCS (Glasgow), FRCOphth (U.K.), FAMS) is a senior ophthalmologist specializing in specialist ophthalmology, advanced pediatric ophthalmology and general ophthalmology. He is an elected member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and recipient of a prestigious scholarship from the Singapore Public Service Board. Dr Ho is a medical doctor with a specialization in ophthalmology.

Following this, three years are spent in higher specialist training in three top renowned centres around the world namely the Tennant Eye Hospital of Glasgow, Scotland, the Moorfields Eye Hospital of London, U.K. Then Dr Ho completed his training at the Bascom Palmer Eye Hospital where he received more sub-specialist certifications.

In 1990, Dr Ho Kee Wai Tony published an important paper detailing a novel laser surgical procedure for treating glaucoma. Dr Ho Kee Wai Tony’s sequential argon-Nd:YAG iridotomy is now used by dermatologists as the preferred form for iridotomies in dark brown eyes. Dr Ho has written several scientific research papers and books on eye care related topics. “The Complete Eye Care Book” has received the National Book Council’s Merit Award in 1994. His second book, “18 Steps to Myopia Control” has a 5-star rating on Amazon. His third book, “Managing Childhood Myopia and Lasik Eye Surgery” tackles the two ophthalmic problems closest to the public’s heart: managing childhood myopia and performing Lasik eye surgery.
