Dr Gwee Hak Meng at the Mount Elizabeth Medical Centre is a consulting endocrinologist and physician. Previously, he was a Consultant and Associate Professor at Singapore National University. At the University of Singapore, he earned his MBBS (1970) and Master of Medicine (Internal Medicine)(1974).
Dr Gwee Hak Meng is a fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (1979) and the Academy of Medicine, Singapore, and a member of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (1974). (1979).
In 1977/78, Dr Gwee Hak Meng was also the recipient of the Naffield Foundation Postgraduate Scholarship to undertake endocrinology training at the London Royal Postgraduate Medical School, Hammersmith Hospital. He was an SGH visiting consultant, Department of Health (1983-1990) and part-time lecturer, NUS Department of Medicine (1983-1993).
