Dr. Baheti holds a pain awareness workshop for the general public on a regular basis. He organized six global pain updates from 2000 to 2015, as well as a pain exhibition for laypeople. He received training as an International Scholar at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation in the United States in 1991 and a U.I.C.C Fellowship at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in the United States in 1996.
