Biodata
- Dr Diptarka Bhattacharyya earned his MBBS with Honors and Distinction from Madras Medical College. Following this, he earned an MS and DNB in ENT at Nair Hospital in Mumbai, where he was a Gold Medalist with the highest GPA on record. Following this, he completed additional training in the United Kingdom (MRCS ENT) before moving to the United States to finish two prominent fellowships at Sinai and Louisiana State University in Rhinology & Skull Base Surgery and Facial Plastic Surgery, respectively. He is licensed in India and the United States of America. He resigned from the Mayo Clinic in the United States of America and returned to India to care for his ailing father, and intends to provide world-class care and service to his patients.
- In 2018, Dr Diptarka Bhattacharyya received the American Academy of Otolaryngology’s International Young Fellow award, and in 2016, he received the Maharashtra chief minister’s recommendation. He is also a Stammberger Scholar, a distinction bestowed by the Stammberger Hospital in Dubai. Dr. Bhattacharyya has over 20 publications and the uncommon distinction of presenting 11 papers in the United States of America in 2019, the most of any doctor that year.
