Biodata

• Dr Daniel Yong Zhan Peng was granted the Singapore Urological Association-European Board of Urology Book Prize (Nation’s highest scorer) in 2018 upon completion of his Urology residency with the National Health Group. Since 2018, he has been a Fellow of the Singapore Academy of Medicine.
• He graduated with a first class honors in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Imperial College, London, in 2005. In 2007, he earned a Master of Science in Biotechnology from the University of Pennsylvania. He graduated with a Doctor of Medicine in 2011 as a member of the inaugural class of Duke-NUS Medical School. He was a recipient of the Duke University Research Scholarship and spent one year in North Carolina completing a research fellowship under the supervision of Prof. Glenn Preminger, Prof. David Albala, and the respected staff of the Department of Urology.
• Dr Daniel Yong Zhan Peng was a 2019 Japan Urological Association scholarship recipient and interned at Okayama University Hospital’s Department of Urology under the tuPhoneage of Prof Mootoo Araki and Prof Yasutomo Nasu. As an avid researcher, he has authored numerous peer-reviewed articles and book chapters. He is the chief of the research department and a member of both the hospital’s research and clinical innovation committees.
• He is currently interested in robotics, minimally invasive surgery, and urooncology in the field of urology. He is also committed to educating the future generation of physicians, serving as an adjunct clinical lecturer at YLL-SOM NUS and LKC NTU.
