Dr. Chin Chong Minis is a highly EXPERIENCE YEARS d Consultant Urologist with an impressive career spanning 27 years, centered at Mount Elizabeth Novena Hospital. He holds the prestigious position of Adjunct Associate Professor at the National University of Singapore & serves as a Visiting Consultant at several renowned medical institutions, including National University Hospital, Raffles Hospital, and Changi General Hospital.

Dr Chin Chong Min’s extensive urology journey includes a significant year-long stint at the esteemed Bristol Urological Hospital (BUI) in the United Kingdom (1996-1997) and a comprehensive residency program in robotic urology at the University of California, Irvine, United States (2005).

He is internationally recognized for his exceptional surgical skills in uro-oncology, specializing in the treatment of kidney, bladder, prostate, and testicle cancers. Dr. Chin possesses versatile expertise in both laparoscopic and robotic surgical techniques. He is proficient with the latest da Vinci Xi robot and is well-versed in all three da Vinci robotic systems (Standard, Si, and Xi).

Doctor Chin Chong Min’s impressive robotic surgery track record comprises over 800 prostate surgeries, 40 kidney surgeries, and 6 adrenal surgeries. His groundbreaking contributions to robotic surgery are highlighted by his presentation of two original robotic prostatectomy video at the 2012 European Association of Urology Congress in Paris. Remarkably, his average surgery time is just 2 hours. Notably, Dr. Chin has successfully removed a prostate as large as 120 grams and a kidney tumor measuring 7 centimeters.

In addition to his expertise in uro-oncology, Doctor Chin excels in the treatment of bladder dysfunction & urinary incontinence. He is a pioneering urologist in Singapore, known for performing sling surgeries (TVT & TVT-O) to address stress incontinence.

He authored the second edition of the Clinical Handbook on Management of Incontinence in 2001 and chaired the committee responsible for drafting the Clinical Practice Guidelines on ‘Management of Urinary Incontinence’ in 2008.
