Biodata
- Dr Chia Pow Li graduated from the National University of Singapore with a Bachelor of Medicine in 2000 and a Master of Medicine (Internal Medicine) in 2005. He completed his Advanced Specialist Training in Cardiology in 2009 and was inducted as a Fellow of the Academy of Medicine Singapore. Dr Chia completed a one-year Fellowship in Cardiac Electrophysiology and Pacing at St Vincent’s Hospital Sydney in 2011 with support from the Ministry of Health’s Manpower Development Plan. In 2016, he was elected to the Fellowship of the Royal College of Physicians (Edinburgh). Dr Chia has been named Adjunct Associate Professor at Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine and Adjunct Assistant Professor at Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine in recognition of his contributions to medical undergraduate Qualification.
- Dr Chia is a Senior Consultant and Head of the Cardiology Department at Tan Tock Seng Hospital in Singapore. He is also the service’s head of arrhythmia, cardiac electrophysiology, and pacing. His special interests include cardiac arrhythmias and cardiac implantable electronic devices, and he has published extensively in both domestic and international medical journals in these fields. He serves as a Expert In Editor (Cardiology) for the Singapore Medical Journal and on the Singapore Cardiac Society’s Council.
