Dr Chan Ying Ho Henry is an orthopaedic surgeon practising at Mount Elizabeth Hospital, Singapore. Dr Chan Ying Ho Henry specialises in the management of adult and child fractures and trauma, general orthopaedic injuries, sports injuries of the ligament and meniscus, and degenerative spine conditions including prolapsed intervertebral discs (slipped discs).

Dr Chan Ying Ho Henry has special interests in computer-assisted joint replacement surgeries such as total knee replacement, total hip replacement, and unicompartment knee replacement using pinless computer navigation, patient specific instrumentation (PSI) and robotic surgery (Makoplasty).

He obtained his basic medical Qualification from the National University of Singapore (NUS) in 2004. He became a member of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and obtained his Master of Medicine (Orthopaedic Surgery) in 2009. He completed his advanced surgical training and became a certified Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 2013.
Dr Chan Ying Ho Henry was awarded the Human Manpower Development Programme (HMDP) scholarship from the Ministry of Health of Singapore and completed his fellowship in revision hip and knee arthroplasty at the Helios Endo-Klinik in Hamburg, Germany in 2014.

It is the largest hip and knee reconstruction centre in Europe, performing more than 5000 joint replacements annually and specialising in complex revision hip and knee surgeries. The revision joint replacement fellowship in Helios Endo-Klinik well-equipped him to treat the various complications of joint replacements such as infections, fractures, pain, recurrent dislocation, stiffness or loosening.
Dr Chan Ying Ho Henry has spearheaded the Joint Replacement Unit in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery in Tan Tock Seng Hospital and has performed more than 1000 joint replacements to date. He has been invited as an instructor for basic and advanced joint replacement courses in various countries including Malaysia, Vietnam, Thailand and India.
