Dr Chan Shao Wah Georgette G has been mainly interested in breast surgery and surgical oncology in Singapore General Hospital for the past 14 years and has published extensively in the field of the medical field. She has also conducted studies on cancer prevention, at Memorial Sloan Kettering, and Cornell Medical College in New York.
Dr Chan Shao Wah Georgette G has established her special interest in advanced breast surgery techniques and has spent a year’s residency in Europe studying with the well renowned pioneer in breast surgery, Professor Umberto Veronesi, at the European Hospital of Oncology. She is specialized in more advanced breast surgery as well as breast cancer surgery and sentinel lymph node biopsies.
