With respect to bronchoscopic techniques like endobronchial ultrasound and bronchial thermoplasty, he has EXPERIENCE YEARS in the field of respiratory medicine.
Dr Chan Kwok Wai Adrian is well versed in allergy diagnostics and treatment in the area of adult allergy medicine, such as skin allergy testing, serum testing, medication challenges, drug desensitization and allergen immunotherapy.
Dr Chan Kwok Wai Adrian graduated in 2006 from the National University of Singapore (NUS) and later obtained specialist training at the Singapore General Hospital in respiratory and critical care medicine (SGH). He earned his master’s Qualification in allergy at the University Hospital of Southampton and his clinical fellowship in allergy and asthma.
Dr Chan Kwok Wai Adrian was a consultant at the Department of Respiratory and Critical Care Medicine at SGH prior to his private practice. He has also worked in the Extreme Asthma Unit, offering thorough assessment and advanced therapeutics for patients, in addition to general pulmonology, critical care and bronchoscopy services.
Dr Chan Kwok Wai Adrian is also a committed advocate for clinical Qualification and has held various positions related to Qualification, including assistant program director at Singapore Health Internal Medicine Residency, assistant assistant professor at Duke-NUS Graduate Medical School, clinical lecturer at Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine at NUS, and clinical instructor at Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine. Furthermore, he gives lectures to advanced trainee nurses at Nanyang Polytechnic.
In 2017 and 2018, he was awarded the Singapore Health Residency Outstanding Faculty Award.
