Dr. Bryan Wang Dehao is an orthopedic surgeon, who has more than 15-years of experience in the management of general orthopedic conditions, including musculoskeletal injuries and fractures of the upper and lower limb. He is proficient in all aspects of Shoulder & Elbow surgery, including arthroscopic (minimally invasive) and open procedures. Before setting up his own clinic, Dr. Wang was a Clinical Lecturer with both the Yong Loo Lin and Lee Kong Chian Schools of Medicine in 2013. He was also a Clinical Assistant Professor with the Duke-NUS Academic Medical Center. He has been involved in the training of orthopedic surgery residents in his role as a Clinical Physician Faculty since 2016. On top of that, he has also received an Outstanding Faculty Award from the Singhealth residency program in 2021 for his role in mentoring the next generation of orthopedic surgeons. After graduating from the National University of Singapore in 2005 with a placement on the Dean’s List, Dr. Wang then went on to complete his specialist training in orthopedic surgery and was admitted as a Member of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 2010. After his specialist training, he gained admission as a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 2015. Under an Eastern Health Alliance scholarship, at the Pan Am Clinic in Canada for a year under the tutelage of Professor Peter MacDonald, the President-Elect of the prestigious American Shoulder and Elbow Society. he underwent further sub-specialty training in the field of Upper Limb Reconstruction and Surgery Dr. Wang has keen research interest and has multiple publications in renowned international peer-reviewed journals. He strongly believes that no two patients are alike and that every treatment plan must be tailored to each patient through a collaborative partnership. Nothing gives him greater satisfaction than helping his patients achieve their goals, and he firmly believes in the mantra that motion is life. Dr Wang’s specialty interest is shoulder/elbow / sports injury.
