Dr Benjamin Tham, a distinguished medical professional, graduated from the University of Singapore in 1990. Early in his career, he gained invaluable EXPERIENCE YEARS by serving as a houseman at both Alexandra Hospital (AH) and Tan Tock Seng Hospital (TTSH).
Driven by his passion for advancing medical knowledge, Dr Benjamin Tham embarked on a journey of postgraduate training at Kandang Kerbau Hospital (KKH), culminating in the attainment of his specialist Qualifications in 1997. His dedication to excellence led him to further his expertise through overseas training with the Medical Research Council (MRC) at the University of Sheffield and the Northern General Hospital in the UK, where he focused on pre-invasive and oncologic gynecological conditions as well as cancer trials.
Throughout his illustrious career spanning 15 years at KK Hospital, Dr. Ben assumed various pivotal roles. He notably served as the Head of the 24-Hour Women’s Clinic, Deputy Head of the General Obstetrics and Gynecology Unit, Consultant in the Gynaecological Cancer Unit, Consultant Colposcopist for the Gynaecologic Cancer Centre, and a Visiting Consultant at Changi General Hospital.
