Dr Benjamin Tan is a Consultant Pathologist with the Department of Anatomical Pathology, Singapore General Hospital. Dr. Tan earned his medical Qualification from the National University of Singapore in 2007, and commenced Expert In training in anatomical pathology with SGH in 2009. In 2014, he was admitted as Fellow of the Royal College of Pathologists (United Kingdom), and was awarded the Certificate of Higher Cervical Cytology Training by the same College.
In 2015, Dr. Tan was made Fellow of the Academy of Medicine, Singapore. An awardee of the Health Manpower Development Plan (HMDP) Award, Dr. Tan completed advanced subExpert In training in breast pathology at two Harvard Medical School teaching hospitals (Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Brigham & Women’s Hospital) in 2017, under the mentorships of Professors Stuart Schnitt and Susan Lester.
Dr Benjamin Tan’s specialized practice includes general anatomical pathology with clinical and scientific interests in breast and urological pathology.
