Dr. Baldev Singh gained extensive experience in the departments of accidents and emergencies, otorhinolaryngology, pediatrics, and anesthesia at Singapore General Hospital before being appointed as a trainee lecturer in the University Department of Medicine.

Dr. Singh was previously the Assistant Editor of the Singapore Medical Journal and Vice President of the Singapore National Heart Association and is currently a member of the Committee for Clinical Guidelines for Hypertension, Singapore Ministry of Health. He was awarded the Medal for Long Service of the Singapore Medical Association and the People’s Association, as well as the Medal for Long Service and Good Service of the Armed Forces of Singapore.

He returned to Singapore and after further work experience was appointed a member of cardiology at Kettering Medical Center, Dayton, Ohio State, USA, where he trained in invasive and interventional cardiology. He was appointed clinical tutor at Wright State University, Dayton, Ohio, USA.

He is also a member of the Medical Academy in Singapore, a member of the Royal College of Physicians in Edinburgh, and a member of the American College of Cardiology.

In addition to being a recognized cardiologist, Dr. Singh is also a specialist in intensive care medicine.

Dr. Singh’s specialized interests are internal medicine, interventional cardiology and preventive cardiology.
