Dr. Amala Elizabeth George graduated from St John’s Medical College in Bangalore in 1994 with; Diploma from the National Board of Examinations (DNB) (Ophthalmology) in 1998.
Dr. Amala Elizabeth George graduated from St John’s Medical College in Bangalore in 1994 with; Diploma from the National Board of Examinations (DNB) (Ophthalmology) in 1998.
She received a Fellowship from the Royal College of Surgeons (Edinburgh) in 1999. Specialized in Uveitis and Intraocular Inflammation at the Medical Research Foundation, Sankara Nethralaya Madras (1998 – 1999).
She was awarded the Major Gen SL Bhatia Award in Physiology in 1990. She has written 10 articles in peer-reviewed National and International Journals, 17 papers, and 10 posters for National and State Ophthalmic Conferences.
She has enrolled in four instruction courses in Uveitis at the National and State Ophthalmic Conferences. She is a member of the All India Ophthalmological Society, the Tamilnadu National Ophthalmic Association, and the Indian Uveitis Society.
