Biography

Dr. Matthew Yeo Sze Wei is a plastic surgeon with a clinical interest in reconstructive surgery as well as aesthetic surgery and aesthetic medicine. He was awarded the Gold Medal by the College of Surgeons, Singapore, in 2013 for emerging as the top candidate in the Singapore plastic surgery board examinations. Dr. Yeo has undergone multiple reconstructive and aesthetic surgery fellowships and observerships in Australia, Belgium, South Korea, Thailand, and the United States of America. His past appointments include Chairman, Chapter of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons, College of Surgeons, Singapore from 2016 to 2019. He is a visiting consultant for Singapore General Hospital and Changi General Hospital since 2015, School of Biological Sciences, Nanyang Technological University from 2019 to the present. Dr. Yeo was also a National Secretary at the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons from 2020 to the present. to present. Dr. Yeo obtained his Fellowship in Advanced Reconstructive Microsurgery, China Medical University, Taichung, Taiwan ROC (2013), Academy of Medicine, Singapore (2013 – present) European Board of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons (2015 – present). Apart from his clinical practice, Dr. Yeo is an International Associate Editor for the Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery journal. He is also active in volunteering and has participated in charity surgical missions in Cambodia, India, Indonesia, and Vietnam.

Dr Yeo’s specialty interests are aesthetic medicine, aesthetic surgery, and reconstructive surgery.
