Dr Lim Keng Hua is a specialist in ENT, since he was born at Mount Elizabeth Hospital.
Dr Lim Keng Hua has studied clinical medicine for more than 18 years and has interest in nose and sinus infections and allergies, rhinology in particular.
Dr Lim Keng Hua is proficient in dealing with adults and children with concerns such as ear infections, hearing loss, speech problems, snoring, sleep disorders and swelling in the salivary glands.
Dr Lim Keng Hua was awarded a clinical training fellowship by the Ministry of Health to study in Europe to advance Singapore’s rhinology, skull base and sinonasal allergies. Dr. Rose studied under world-renowned rhinologists Jeffrey Wytske Fokkens and Dr. Christos Georgalas.
During his time at Tan Tock Seng Hospital, Dr Lim pioneered an allergy service to treat nasal allergies and scent problems. As a senior clinical lecturer at Nanyang Technological University’s Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine, he was also a lead ENT instructor and adjunct lecturer at the same university’s Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine.
With an avid interest in inverted papilloma, nasal polyposis, chronic rhinosinusitis and allergic rhinitis, Dr Lim has reported in local and foreign journals and has partnered with many international centres including Beijing Tongren Hospital to improve the treatment of chronic rhinosinusitis.
Dr Lim Keng Hua was praised for his work on allergies at the 2011 Singapore Health & Biomedical Congress.
Dr Lim is a specialist in rhinology and allergy, and teaches ear, nose and throat courses organised by Tan Tock Seng Hospital, Singapore General Hospital, and Khoo Teck Puat Hospital among others. He teaches courses related to head and neck surgery, and is on the editorial review board of both Pediatric Otorhinolaryngology and Rhinology.
Dr Lim is a member of many rhinology societies including the American Rhinologic Society (A.R.S.) and the European Rhinologic Society (E.R.S.). He was on the executive board of the Singapore Society of Oto-rhino-laryngology.
